Although I'm not very used to eating it, I felt that it was the classic Okinawa soba.
It was very delicious.
Recommended.
If you visit at a delicate time, you can reserve a private place and the rice bowl will arrive fairly quickly after ordering. I was lucky.
When I was leaving the store, there were a few customers who had come in by mistake.
The location of the store where I bought the bottle is close to the parking lot, but it was a little difficult to find, so be careful.
My favorite store for a long time!
Excellent noodles and soup♫
Not much is said. It's a store you won't regret going to☆
The soba was very delicious. It's in a difficult to find place a little after crossing the Irabu Ohashi Bridge, but I'll go there based on the navigation.
At first glance, it looks like an ordinary home, but when you step inside, it has the atmosphere of a shop in Miyakojima.
The noodles were thin and chewy, and the soup stock had a strong bonito flavor!
It had a lot of ingredients and was very delicious!
A famous soba restaurant in Irabu, Miyako Island, which looks like a private house on the island, with tatami and table seats, and a goat in the back of the store. This time, I tried this restaurant's famous kame soba and yushi tofu soba. The slightly hard-boiled noodles and strong bonito stock were delicious, and the accompanying meat was also very soft and delicious. Since it is boiled in water and has no odor or taste, it has a taste that everyone can enjoy. In addition, the tuna sushi, which is a specialty of this restaurant, goes well with soba noodles when you just want a bite of rice. The store seems to be frequented by many tourists, and there are many warning signs inside the store telling people to follow good manners, but I can understand that this can't be helped. (Sweat)
I visited this time during the off-season when it was empty, and the food was very delicious, so I would like to visit again if I have a chance to go to Miyakojima. 5 stars
Even though I don't really like noodles, this restaurant was so delicious that I was shocked.
I would like to go on a trip to Miyakojima again just to eat soba here.
I got in at around 3pm on a weekday in mid-November, with a group waiting.
Buy a meal ticket and wait at your seat.
The soup stock was a little thick, and the bone-in meat was soft and delicious!
5 minutes by car from Irabu Island and Shimoji Airport.
The parking lot is divided into two parts, one on the side of the store and the other on the opposite side, with a maximum capacity of about 15 cars.
Even though it was a weekday at 12:00, there was a long line of people waiting in line as it was a popular restaurant. Write your name in the 10th group, buy your meal ticket first and get in line.
We recommend Kamesoba. This is a classic soba with soki on top. The 2nd place Irabu soba is also very delicious with dried bonito flakes on top. The soup is a slightly salty bonito stock. The soup was so good that I wanted to drink it all. I rather drank it all. I also ordered tuna nigiri as an accompaniment, and it had a good balance of sushi and toppings, making it the perfect accompaniment.
This is a store you should definitely visit when you come to Miyakojima.
Revisit in December 2023
I ordered Sanmainiku soba. I felt that Soki would be better for me. There was a couple who were having a long fight with the staff because they didn't get their meal ticket, so it was a bit of an atmosphere...
Perhaps it was just my imagination, but the noodles felt quite elastic and chewy. Like frozen noodles... However, the soup is delicious!
When you arrive at Shimoji Island, this is the first place to go!
Yushi tofu soba (large) ¥850
Tuna nigiri sushi (2 pieces) ¥150
It had a gentle taste. Tuna sushi is so delicious that I want to eat about 100 …
